BREAD is a multi-disciplinary arts collective dedicated to adapting and devising new work that challenges the typical and stretches the possible.

Lyndsey Anderson  
Lyndsey is an actor, writer and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a proud founding member of BREAD Arts Collective (my favorite artists are my friends!), and is one-half of the writing/performing duo LEWIS & ANDERSON (with fellow BREAD member Ben Lewis). Recent TV credits include: QUANTICO; FOREVER; BLUE BLOODS; I LOVE YOU...BUT I LIED. Recent film: OWLS & ECHOES, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S: DIRTY MOVIE, DIRTY MOVIE II, SNATCHED. A Thespian, Performance Artist, MC, and TV/Film Actress living in NYC.
Recent credits include theater productions with: Classic Stage Company, The Signature Theatre, Flea Theatre, Poetic Theatre, New Brooklyn Theatre, New Century Theatre, National Black Theatre, Cloud City, People Lounge, and Green-Wood Cemetery. Originally from Wisconsin, Kate has most recently appeared in BREAD productions as Charlotte Canda in THE GREAT AMERICAN CASKET COMPANY, and Jenny Smith in RISE AND FALL.  Other recent credits include: MISSED CONNECTIONS (Cave Theatre); Bianca in OTHELLO (Titan Theatre); Juliet in ROMEO AND JULIET (Onomatopoeia Theatre); various roles in MACBETH (Drunk Shakespeare); Witch 2 in MACBETH (Queen's Players); Ida Rock in THE EDWIN BOOTH COMPANY PRESENTS (The Players Club/Titan Theatre); ROMEO AND JULIET and TAMING OF THE SHREW (Titan Theatre).  Kate earned her BA in Theatre Arts and Visual Art from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

KATIE HARTMAN
​A Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, actor and theatre maker. Recent New York credits include EDGAR ALLAN at Soho Playhouse and Torn Page, Bread Arts Collective's RISE AND FALL and 3 Sticks' new folk opera, VESTIGE, both at the Brooklyn performance space, Cloud City. Katie is co-artistic director of the Coldharts, an international touring theatre company that creates ensemble-devised, new music theatre inspired by the American Gothic. Founded in 2012 with Nick Ryan, the Coldharts have created and toured four minimalist musicals together: THE LEGEND OF WHITE WOMAN CREEK, EDGAR ALLAN, EDDIE POE, and THE UNREPENTANT NECROPHILE. While living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Katie worked with Four Humors Theater Company, Bedlam Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, and on the Mainstage of the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater. She is a founding member and producer of the Twin Cities Horror Festival, the largest performing arts festival in North America dedicated to the genre of horror. Katie received her BA in Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.

Eric Powell Holm 
Eric Powell Holm is a theater-and-music-maker based in New York. Directing credits include: RISE AND FALL (BREAD Arts Collective); FIRST SUBURB (Cloud City); 12TH NIGHT! (Barn Arts Collective); LONESOME DEVIL (Cloud City); SHORT LIFE OF TROUBLE (Wandering Bark ~ nominated for a NYIT 'Outstanding Ensemble' Award); VESTIGE (3 Sticks); SILENT FILM (Cloud City/Columbia), DOCTORS AND PATIENCE (Columbia); and PAPER PLANE (3 Sticks). ​Eric earned his BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota Guthrie Program, as well as his MFA in directing from Columbia University. He's proud to be a curator and producer at Cloud City in Brooklyn and to be a founding member of BREAD.

Kelly Klein   
Originally haling from Los Angeles, CA Kelly has since made New York her artistic home. As an actor her credits include the film TAKING WOODSTOCK (Dir. Ang Lee), television series NURSE JACKIE, GILMORE GIRLS, and THE JAKE EFFECT, and BREAD original productions of THE GREAT AMERICAN CASKET COMPANY (Green-Wood Cemetery), RISE & FALL (Cloud City), and WOLFGIRLS! (Greenpoint Gallery). Additional theatre credits include THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Nat'l tour with Barter Theatre), PLAYdead (Red Room), HOOKER RAFT (Dead Herring), STICKY (Bowery Poetry Club), and LET HIM EAT STEAK (The Barrow Group). Kelly is also a writer, producer, director, acting coach, and photographer. Her original projects include BLACK HOLE HEART (The Red Room) and the short film STRANGER FRIENDS. Kelly is proud to produce and act alongside her best friends as a founding member of BREAD.

​Ingrid Larson
Ingrid is from Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago where she earned her BFA in scenic design. Ingrid was the assistant scenic designer for NUTCRACKER ROUGE
 at Minetta Lane Theatre and THE WHO AND THE WAHT at Lincoln Center Theatre in New York City as well as THE BLOOD QUILT at The Arena Stage in Washington D.C., MARY STUART in Chicago, IL and WAR STORIES in Philadelphia, PA. She was the projection designer for ROCKY HORROR LIVE in Rockland, Maine and MOTHER (AND ME)at Second Stage Theatre Uptown in New York City. Most recently, Ingrid was the set and projection designer for ZODIAC MATH at MITU580, assistant projection designer for PRIVACY at The Public Theatre, and JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA at Signature Theatre in New York City.

Benjamin Lewis 
A writer, director, actor and teaching artist. His play LONESOME DEVIL was produced at Could City in Brooklyn with many BREAD members. His plays have also been produced at The Players Theater, Access Theater, The Red Room, Triskellion Arts, and The Time Square Arts Center, as well as fringe festivals in New York, Los Angeles and Minneapolis. Ben's play WOLFGIRLS  won The Bitter Lemons Innovative Theater Award and received and extended run at The hollywood Fringe Festival. His play HAPPY SAUCE is published in several one-act anthologies. His one-act HOOKER RAFT has been produced five times in NYC in the last three years. Ben is one half of the writing/performing duo LEWIS AND ANDERSON (with fellow BREAD member Lyndsey Anderson) whose work includes SPEECHES AND TOASTS and VERUCA AND DEX TAKE IT BACK!  As a teaching artist, Ben has devised original work with young people from inner city housing projects to rural mid-western communities. He earned his BFA from Boston University.

Andrew Lynch
Andrew Lynch is a composer and performer.  His original music theatre has been presented at numerous NYC venues such as Music Theater Factory, Ars Nova, and Dixon Place.  The New York Times describes his work in LE GOURMAND OR GLUTTONY as "rich in musical abundance... so pleasing to the palate, it deserves a bigger table."  Recent acting credits include, Cadence Dakota Begbick in BREAD's RISE AND FALL, Paul Bradley in 3 Sticks' VESTIGE, and Lloyd in Jahn Sood's THE DISAPPEARING MAN.  He also performed as a BLUE MAN in New York and Chicago.  
Andrew is a Co-Artistic Director of 3 Sticks, and a founding member of the Brooklyn arts space Cloud City.

Elizabeth May (EMay)
A playwright, musician, and performer based in Brooklyn, New York. Original works include, ZODIAC MATH, produced by The New Collectives and premiering at MITU580, VENGEFUL MOON, a song cycle of love and revenge written for the solar eclipse as a part of Tapp’s Art Center’s ECLIPSEploitation Event, OLD SOULS, an original folk musical, performed in residence at The Barn Arts Collective, THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF GREAT BROOKLYN PRESENTS: MISSIONARY STYLE for The Upright Citizens Brigade, and THE TROJAN WOMEN for The New Collectives (Song Writer/Music Director). Other performing credits include, THE EDGE OF GLORY for Lady Gaga and Google Chrome, STOP THE VIRGENS at St. Ann’s Warehouse, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and THE TRAVELING MUSICIANS for The Barn Arts Collective, SARAH FLOOD IN SALEM, MASS., #SERIALS, and MARY-KATE OLSEN IS IN LOVE for The Flea Theatre, AT THE RICH RELATIVES for Target Margin, and TL;DR as a part of Prelude Fest and The Northwest New Works Festival. Katie Melby 
Katie Melby is a Lecoq-trained theatre artist based in Brooklyn. Last fall she directed Jahn Sood's folk opera IN A SEA OF FACE in Maine and Brooklyn and performed in Chana Porter's PHANTASMAGORIA at La Mama. For BREAD she has directed THE GREAT AMERICAN CASKET COMPANY, at Greenwood Cemetery and also co-directed and starred in BREAD's RISE AND FALL. She is co-founder and co-Artistic Director of 3 Sticks, a physical theatre company dedicated to making new work, that she runs with  composer/performer Andrew Lynch. Their work has been presented by Ars Nova, Columbia Stages, One Arm Red, Governors Island art Fair, and Dixon Place amongst others. Recent puppetry credits include Basil Twist's RITE OF SPRING at Lincoln Center, Mabou Mine's LA DAVINA CARICATURA at La Mama, THE CAT WHO WENT TO HEAVEN at BAM, The Chilean tour of Chris Green's FIREBIRD,  Jessica Scott's SHIP OF FOOLSS at HERE Art Center, and the interactive, immersive kid's experience that is PIP'S ISLAND. Currently, she is working on a new telling of PINOCCHIO with Barn Arts collective.

Lindsey Hope Pearlman

Giverny Petitmermet 
A New York based actor/producer/director/creator originally from San Diego, California. Giverny is the Artistic Director and Executive Producer of The New Collectives. She is also the Lead Teaching Artist for their education department, The Young Collectives.
